Instead of getting just distinction in marks
it will be much better if you could byheart the subjects have deep knowledge of it engraved in the mind and become core engineer and only by paper degree.

you should go through last 10 years question papers.and prepare your self only for the particular questions you have to attempt.never go for full paper solving.select your question see the trend of last years.and then byheart them.

simple work hard in maths n applied sciencs n BEE if ur doin ur first year, n try to solve as many last years question papers as possible.

Work very hard (only in the prep leave). thats wat i did and did get distinction in all the semesters. enjoy all the other time :)
