Actually, if you read the biography of Bill Gates you'll learn that the idea for Windows was thought of by his partner Steve Jobs, who Bill stole the idea from and used as his own. Steve Jobs fought him in court, but since Bill was already wealthy and Steve was not, he lost. So Steve Jobs created the just as popular APPLE computer. Why do you think Bill Gates is so widely hated? He ADMITS to stabbing his best friend in the back, even jokes about it to this day. (A TV film was made telling this true story called PIRATES OF SILICON VALLEY in 1999, based on the book of the same title.)

The concept of a GUI interface was actually developed by the Xerox labs, not Bill Gates or Steve Jobs. Bill Gates called it Windows.
