I think our souls live on, i think people who have done a large amount of sins are lost souls and never find their place to rest i think souls can come back in another life as a cat or dog etc. or if they have family they are still with them everywhere they go just watching

when we die.we have no life.we have no requirements like food , water and shelter.we meet others dead like us and communicate.we visit new places better or worse depending on what we have done in our life.after death life is much easier than when you are living.without any needs and any competition and stress and have to do things life becomes a place full with communication with the others who are dead.sharing there experiences on earth.
i am sorry to say but hell is earth.remember Adam and eve were punished to earth.have you ever seen a good punishment.also according to Hindu culture written in Vedas , 2 human species of opposite gender in the process of pursuing there own physical needs open the gates to hell and thus we are born back to hell to do slavery to god and run the show here on earth for god.
you will find in highly civilized and evolved culture there is less birth rate as with knowledge humans sometimes are capable to give up there cannibalistic needs , sorry to say which arise mostly from your physical body which becomes a fertilizer after you are dead.
another proof is mostly saintly people died without giving birth.
there is another theory which says that if you do not give birth and god is not afraid of you that you will over populate his garden of eden then you are not born again , that is you are free from the punishment.

My own perspective being an aethist, is that nothing happens, when the brain stops working, we know nothing about it, we die, the end, game over.

Sorry to be depressing but that is my view, so make the most of this life and live it to the full, although even if I am right you won't care as you won't know?

I work with a lot of old people and a lot of them are aware that they are going to die days or minutes before alot of them have explainned a dizzy feeling,but im affraid once death has taken over it there really is nothing more.

Please try not to focus on death, yet focus on living and if you are willing to open up your mind, to read the bible , the bible will answer all of your question and the question will be answered if you practice the things written in your every moment of life.
