What about the pentagram(the five pointed star) experts say it dissappers. It appears only 5 days before and after the lunar phase(2 days before and after a full moon), is this true?

I do not believe there is such a thing. There have been people who were born with a condition that caused them to have hair all over their body but they were not were wolfs.

While the legends of werewolves had a person turning into a wolf for various reasons, the mondern concept of a were wolf has been narrowed and more focused.

Most modern tales have a person becoming a wolf as a result of heredity or a contagious bite. The traits are now generally regarded as follows:

Red Hair
Born on 12/25
Bushy eybrows that join in the middle
Index and middle fingers of the same length
Love of extremely rare or raw meat
Hairs on palm of hands or bottom of feet
Hair on iside of skin (not sure how to check that)
Contact allergy with silver
In wolf form will reveal true shape when something iron or metal is thrown over its head.
Unusually large canine teeth, and very white teeth

According to anciend legend the foloowing things are sigs of being a werewolf. First, their index finger is longer than their other fingers. This is due to the fac that the hand transform into paws.

Secondly they have patches of dense, and unusually think hari in places tha most people do not have hair (palms, bottoms of feet, between fingers and toes)

Third unusually hairy and bushy eyebrows that come together in a point down on the nose farther than normal hair would grow.

Fourth, unusually white teeth, especially in persons who have prominent dental problems.

Unusally accute senses, especially hearing and smell.

When they eat they tend to rip and tear at food with their side teeth in the manner of an animal rather than biting head on like people.

Those are the most common signs that someone is a werewolf. There are some more obscure ones and, if you're interested you can e-mail me here and I will pass them along.

It depends on what you beleive is a werewolf.

Physical shape-shifting is pretty much impossible, but there are some who beleive that a part of their soul is wolf/cat/animal/ other. They are called Therians. A type of Oterkin, they beleive they have the soul of an animal.

They often exhibit traits comon to their 'other' soul species, and during astral plaing they wil appear as an animal, not human.

Try looking up otherkin, or therian, and read.

BTW, the person isn't going to go crazy and harm anyone. Therians are just like anyone else.

If they grow fur, claws and large teeth during the full moon then they are sure to be a werewolf - or more likely they are just the content of a really bad dream based on a really dumb movie.

Perhaps at that time of the month you should look for extra hair. Like if it's a guy, you might want to check if he shaves morning noon and night, and if its a chick, try seeing if she is shaving her legs more than usual. Like twice a day . . .

A Werewolf is said to have 3 pingpongs under his ding dong. So when in doubt ask the person to tell the naked truth.
