I visited a dinosaur museum in Dorset and they had a model of what a 'human' might have looked like if the dinosaurs had not been wiped out. Looked a bit like an alien, named Dinosarid, it would have been tree living, like monkeys and probably not the highest in the food chain! (big black eyes, bulbous baldie headed thing). It had scaley green skin.
All I can say is thank god that meteor hit!!!!!!

You mean if dinosaurs had survived to the present day? That could be fun and dangerous? Fact is we are and always have been the most intelligent of God's creatures, brain wins over brawn so even though we are pathetic in a physical sense in the animal kingdom, we would have probably tamed and/or wiped out the [most threatening] dinosaurs, just like we are making everything else extinct today(poor dodo).

Since dinosaurs were the dominant life species for millions of years until their destruction it can be assumed that the situation would have continued. Mankind, as it developed, would have been subject to these predators and would have developed differently. Don't forget that when the earth was shrouded by the dirt in the atmosphere only small animals, insects, fish and birds survived. Without this cataclysm it is improbable that Homo Sapiens would ever have evolved.

If the dinosaurs were not wiped out (what ever happened (Comet, Super Volcano, Ice Age)) they would probably be the dominant race on earth having a few billion years more then us to evolve, maybe even a dinosaure humanoid? Scary!

I think every certain species has a limited amount of time on this planet, even human beings. Its inevitable.
Its all to do with balance at the end of the day. When the balance is altered by a life threatening event, such as a meteor or climate change then the cause and effect changes and a new balance is created.

This has been thought about, actually. Dalr Russel came up with an animal called the 'Dinosaurid'. This would have evolved from the smart small predator branch of the Dinosaur tree into a human-like animal. Below is a link to a picture of it (middle of page).

I think that eventually us humans would have eventually found a way to control the environment in terms of the dinosaurs.
Just like we are able to control the species now, i know they would be HUGE but im sure we'd find a way.
If not we would probably all die a horrible death or live in fear 24/7.

65 million years is a long while - I'd imagine they would have evolved even more over that period and with their size and the amount of available food on the planet would have become smaller in size. I suppose not much different from the lizards and crocodiles/alligators we see today - just maybe a more varied and abundant species of these.

There's still no conclusive proof that it was the comet that killed off dinosaurs in one hit. More likely they eveolved to death, or a sickness, or lack of food, or global climate change...
all cosmic accidents, who's to say primates would have evolved at all?
In other words none of mnight be here pondering these weighty issues on Answers...

It'll be like the movie Godzilla or Jurassic Park where mankind will be fearing for their life all the time!
