No. Run for Governor of Texas , get elected for a couple of terms and then run for President. Has happened once, why not a second time? JUST KIDDING ALL. Seriously , life is what you do with what you have, if all you can do is roll silverware, be the best silverware roller ever. Brains are not a pre-requisite to be the best, desire and hard work are. From the phrasing of your question, using long words like intellectually and consequences, you are not a dope, a little bored maybe. Try rolling the silverware backwards, that way you can claim to be dyslexic as well.

Dope? What do you mean? Not worldly? Not well educated? Or just ditzy? I take it you are a restaurant/food service worker as you say you roll silverware. First thing - stop the pity party as it is such an unproductive use of your valuable time. Start reading the newspaper and newsy periodicals (Time, US News, etc) to see if there is a topic that is interesting and might give you a clue about something you might ultimately like as a job. Make a list of things you CAN/LIKE TO do - even it is things like "good with animals" or "enjoys knitting." Think about taking a class at a local community college. And most importantly, NEVER underestimate yourself!

Rolling silverware in napkins??? Is that what you mean???

If you are unhappy with what you are doing, try to go back to school, take a class or 2 in something new. Also try volunteering at a hospital or serving dinner to the poor.

You are, what you make of yourself!!!

There's a difference between being "average" and being a "dumb-***". Usually the second one is by choice and therefore can be overcome with some serious effort on your part. If the first one is the case, there are plenty of situations where you will do just fine. It appears that you are somewhat computer literate, that could qualify you for any one of hundreds of jobs. Look around.

Hey, every job can provide opportunities. You've obviously got the smarts so make some contacts with your dazzling personality and doors will open for you. Your demeanor means much more than the menial task you're performing. Good luck!

Don't put yourself down, just pick yourself up and get on with your life and do something that you might have a passion for. Experience different fields to find what you would truly like to do. With life experience comes knowledge.
