Go to the very top left of the screen and find "Tools."
Under "tools" you'll find "Internet Options."
Under "Internet Options" you'll find "Clear History."
Hit that, and you'll delete addresses. Also hit "Delete Files."

On your desktop you should have the blue "e" sign which open up internet explorer. If you right click on it and go to properties, at the bottom of that window will be a "clear history" box. Click it, press OK and there you go - no more things in your address bar!

clear your history. generally it's under tools (in an open exploerer page) on the top, go to internet options. then you can click a button that says clear history. that will clean it up. you can also delete your cookies there too, to help speed up your system and get rid of "dead weight"
