1904. What's cool is our house was there before our street because its a farmhouse. When you look at old city maps, our neighborhood is not even on it! Now we are a typcial city block and most of the other homes are Tudor Styles from the 40s.

Actually I would say 2005, 2006, and god knows when. Me and my husband are building a house ourselves. We started on it in March 2005 and still are doing little by little to it today. The only good thing is, from taking our time and doing what we can week to week, there will be no house payment! The bad thing is, if the year it was built is the year we are done with it, I'm not really sure what year that will be!

Late 1951 as the original blue prints are dated 6-1951.
It actually looks in real life the way it looks on the blue print, complete with a four foot wide overhang that goes all the way around the house.
The only physical difference is that now the 'breezeway' is the dining room, but we use it as a computer room, and the garage is now a second 15'x15' master bedroom, a little office/sewing room and a huge walk in closet.

1980. I live south of Louisville and was in downtown Louisville last week. I headed down 3rd Street to go out to UofL. Those houses are magnificent. I told my daughter this is where the affluent people in Louisville lived years ago. I noticed a lot of the houses are for sale, being renovated, and are apartments. You do have a splendid house!

Mine was built in the early 1900's and was first the town pharmacy..then the town post office ..then the towns Barber Shop. The town still has only 1200 people.
It is very small..maybe 900 sq.ft total...2 beds and 1 1/2 baths..Kit. and livingroom..Believe it or not it is very cute...perfect for my husband and I until we can find our dream home.
