no...technology can never go "too far"...technology is people overcoming problems, or fulfilling dreams. That would include some pretty advanced stuff in this day an age, but I can assure you that Flush toilets, Cars, and Airplanes were just as marvelous in their time...and there were probably people wondering if things were moving too fast back then as well.
