"Did you ever think those 10,000 people layed off from GM deserved to be fired?"---Rush Limbough

Do con. repubs know those who've supposedly "earned" their way by working hard and doing everything "right" -- the big money makers-- are the first "fat" to get cut out when the big dogs make cost cuts?-- even if they have worked in that company for over ten years, sometimes twenty?
Do they not see how the "poor" are working two or three minimum wage jobs just to make it, with no health insurance, and no hope from any help from the gov. -- even though they have children?
Where is their reward?
Do they REALLY believe that EVERYONE is capable of attaining a college degree-- something that now is becoming a requirement to make a living wage, and even THAT starting salary is barely enough to pay back student loans, pay rent and eat.
Where is all this blind optimism coming from?

Just admit you are social Darwinists and we'll call it a day.

Cream rises to the top. You do know that many of the wealthiest men today started out barely middle class or less. Job layoffs happen. Thats when the go getters move on and the losers sink. So sorry you are not able to deal.

In the auto industry, maybe if the unions hadn't strangled the companies with all their demands for so many years the jobs could have stayed. Oh wait you are a liberal and unions are good. Nevermind.

Their leading politicians are to 100% people who either "made it" or were born with the silver spoon.
The first ones will see their own story as the living proof of the myth,
the others don't know anything about the life of normal people in the first place.
Both groups don't want to know, either.

Because the Neo-Conservatives are people of aggressive ill-will. They do not give a damn about who the destroy so long as they stay in power. Myth building confuses the issues, and allows them time to continue destroying the nation.

So the 10,000 are now our responsibility. Perhaps if they expelled the union GM could have afforded more of them. No one is supposed to work more than one minimum wage job, they are supposed to better themselves and get a real job. No, we do not believe everyone should get a college degree, liberals do which is why there are so many dumb asses in college.

They don't see anything because their heads are shoved so far up their bums, admiring the silver lining of their colons, that seeing is impossible.
