We found a wallet on the floor in our local Asda last Christmas, it had a huge wad of money in it but we didn't count it, I would guess it was about £500 or so, we handed it in to the customer service desk and left our name and phone number, an hour or so later a guy phoned us to thank us for been so honest, it was his kids Christmas present money and he was nearly crying with gratitude, he said he had left us a bottle of wine and box of chocolates with customer services as a thank you, glad it was us that found it and handed it in, my hubby had his wallet nicked in Dublin last year and I know how upset that made us feel even though they were little money in it at the time thankfully.

Only ever found a tenner in a shopping centre carpark, stepped out of my car & there it was...............just waiting for a good home ! I find loads of small change & always pick it up...........apparently the youngsters of today think its not the done thing to pick up bits of change, but where else can you get free money thats been 'abandoned'............I've got no qualms, its straight in the pocket everytime!
