To be honest, I was impressed with some areas, disappointed with others.
I was very impressed with the way the writers used Christina's background and character to console Izzie (the conversation about sitting shiva for Denny), and I wish they would show more of Christina's conflict about being in love with Burke but having difficulty showing it. The scene when she crawled into bed with him and cried was awesome, but I wish she had said more during it.
I knew they'd drag out the thing with Mere and McDreamy vs. McVet. It's going to teeter totter back and forth for a while. Even if she chooses McVet, she's going to have the feelings for McDreamy for a while.
I like that they showed Callie's more "girly" side when she expressed worry for George. They're doing a good job of evolving her from the tough, gruff doctor to a girl in love with a boy.
I was a little disappointed with Izzie's rtole in the premiere, though. It was a great way to portray her sadness over losing Denny -- but if I recall correctly, she didn't even shed a single tear in the entire episode. I think a single tear during one of the times she was talking about him would have been very effective.

I'm disappointed in the entire series, and how much success it's received even though it's a sh!tty show.
