Don't vote for a Democrat, don't vote for a Republican, don't vote for an Independant, vote for an American!

The point I'm trying to make is - don't vote for some just because they're in your party, vote for someone that believes in America, not what's in it for them, or whatever it's going to take to get or keep my party in office.

Sure, I would identify with that statement, with the possible exception of voting for an Independent. The only reason I would cast a vote for an Independent would be if the candidate was a far superior and clearer choice (in my biased opinion) over the others, which has yet to happen.

Seems to me, if you vote for any of the above, you are voting for an american. Wasn't aware there was an american party?

Good idea.
You just told people Not to vote for a Democrat.
There are no Americans in the Democrat Party, unless someone new shows up.
