KimJongIl is the most evil, twisted and bizarre dictator on the face of this planet.
His image is everywhere and people are taught to worship him... IF someone goes "against" him in any way, they will kill his family, put them in a work camp, they even torture children..
IF you try to escape to China , they will torture and kill you, If you escape to China, China will deport them, knowing they will be tortured and killed, and if the woman who comes back from China is pregnant, they rip her open and kill the baby in front of her.
Why does the US have good relations with China?Our government doesn't care.
and we KNOW for a fact they have WMD.

I have just today finished reading The Aquariums of Pyongyang written by Kang Chol-hwan. That book really made me bad for not been able to help these people there.
It's written by a man who escaped the Yodok concentration camp - he writes about his ten years there with his family (he was sent there age 9!) and the terrible things they had to go through: propogandabeatings, torture, brutal labour, starvation, public executions, disease... the list is endless. He had to eat rats, frogs and insects just to survive and he declares that he was one of the lucky ones of all the prisoners... and it was all due to Kim il-Sung, a pathetic little communist dictator.
Now he lives in the South after escaping but his family still live in the North where they are trapped by the evil regime. I really think you should read this book, it will really upset you but it's an eye-opener. If everyone read it, North Korea would be destroyed in a matter of years!
What you've written above is the exact truth about what happens there but some people will think you're been dramatic. If I didn't know better I would also think that such things couldn't still be happening in the world. Its terrible that governments worldwide don't do anything to stop this evil regime, a regime that is more evil than Nazism it seems.
I asked a question here about why people don't stop NK but i only got stupid answers. It just goes to show that hardly anyone around knows the true horror of North Korea.
I think that Kim Jong-il has nuclear weapons and will be looking for any reason to use them, to spread his evil communist tyranny. Maybe that is what needs to happen for people to realise that people like him should be stopped before they can become this powerful in the future.

Leave them alone... the us does not rule the world. We have nukes... Enough to blow the whole planet up! When bush goes after these countries for wmd's, his goal is to turn them into democratic countries. Sound familiar...... "Terrorist groups aim to convert the world to Islam" For one it religion the other its politics, to me its all terrorism!
