I had my tubal ligation done a little over 8 years ago and I'm almost a week late. I don't have any other symptoms, but I didn't have any symptoms with either of my children. I'd like to hear from anyone who has had a healthy pregnancy or who has an opinion on this. I haven't taken a home test yet, I keep waiting to see if I start. Thanks in advance.

I actually asked my obstetrician about having my tubes tied after this I deliver my baby (as our family will be complete). He reccomended alternative forms of contraception for me instead. If a woman is in her late 30's to early 40's they will do it, but if you get your tubes ties in your 20's to early 30's its not very effective as a means of contraception because ther is a good chance that the tubes will correct themselves over time and you can become pregnant. He said that there is a 1 in 30 chance that eventually you will become pregnant again, and the odds increase the younger you were when you had them tied.

Theres absolutly every possibility that you are pregnant despite having the surgery, I wish you the best of luck with whatever news you recieve !!
