where a advertising rep comes to your business and home.....and helps to promote your business.....and respresents all the sign manufacturers on the net, Vistaprint.com, and all the customized products companies. I would hire a knowledgable advertsing rep for each area.....and just collect 10% royalties for each territory. I would do this across Canada and the USA. Would this work???? What improvements could be made to make this work????

Will advertising on wheels work? Technically is a tough question. Before going into this kind of business you need to first decide what is the target market. In simpler terms, who do you think will use your services.

The next step would be to decide how to reach these people and position ones business idea to generate business. In your case, you need to first reason out the idea itself to know, wheather "advertiser on wheels" will appeal to clients. Most of the advertisers i am aware of approach clients premises for business. How would your concept differentiate from other competitors in the industry.

If you are trying to just cater the signage segment of the market and make all information and design capabilities available on wheels, then it is a very good idea and will click. If not i suggest you reconsider or refine it a little more.

Well looks like you have the advertising bit down pat but honestly the secret to starting a successful buisness is to keep your mouth shut until you have the business name registered and the ball rolling - whats to stop anyone looking at your idea and saying hmmm that sounds good and them getting in ahead of you on your idea?

Yep, you should have kept your mouth shut, now, the whole world knows about your IDEA, and can run with it. Hon, one never discusses, business concepts online unless you want everyone to "jump on it first."
