has to be google. I used to like ask jeeves, but since jeeves left it is no fun anymore!

It really depends on what you are searching for really. Generally speaking, Google and Yahoo are at the top of the list. However, there are other search options available that some prefer for the way the searches are ranked and categorized, like Dogpile. It's really what works best for you.

If you want "everything" Google and Yahoo are at the top of the list.
If you want to ask a more specific question "How do I...", "What is...", ask.com is better. Its chooses are usually more focuses.
Dogpile catagorizes nicely.
So depends on what kind of questions or information you are looking for.

I usually think Google is the best, most comprehensive. But I also think they may all be a great deal alike.
