I would find the dog and it's 5 foot sandwich quite amusing, the plus is that as it is a talking dog, you can ask it what the hell it's doing in your kitchen, and how it can eat that much in one go...
The ghost is more frightening.... They are dead.... And scary... Dogs are cute and funny....
What would be even more scary would be:
A ghost dog, chatting away in your kitchen while making a 5 foot sandwich which he eats in one go and then does a native tribal dance... Not giving you time to get a word in edgeways....

I would say that the ghost would be more frightening because I am a dog lover and I have never been afraid of dogs. Maybe he ate the sandwich in one gulp because he was hungry?

I think that the ghost would be more scary, until you saw scooby making the snack cuz then you know it's really not a ghost it's just some bad guy dressed up!!! So all is well and I will have one of those cold chicken legs before scooby and shaggy eat them all!!!
