I do find ironing very calming and enjoyable. Not sure why just always have. What normally mundane things do you find enjoyable?

I love the sound of a metal cog rolling across my desk at work. I steal them from the factory when no-one is looking. I have caused major breakdowns in the past but I just can't resist. Also, used to work with someone who liked the feeling of paper brushed across her face. When she opened the mail and found a texture she liked you could hear her go quiet and if you checked she was usually hiding behind her monitor rubbing some newly opened mail against her cheek. Weirdo.

I too love ironing...something relaxing about it!! When at school I used to enjoy homework, not because i was a swot or particularly good at it but i love researching things. The most mundane thing i like though is cleaning the bath, there is something satisfying about getting rid of the mess left behind by my boyfriend even if he does go back and do it again and again and again and again.....

You think YOU'RE unacceptable aye! Me filthy old bunk and the pillow on it, which is even worse, actually smell GOOD to me. Whenever I am away from it for a bit, when I get back on board I secretly stuff me face into it and breathe deeply! I like the pong of mouldy things that have been sitting in a damp ship cabin, and that strong "brackish water" smell that comes off of nasty parts of the Intracoastal Waterway on the east coast of the US. I enjoy the aroma of diesel fuel as well. Everyone all round will be choking and gagging and I'm settin there enjoying the fragrance. HAHA!!!!!!

Folding laundry. I have no idea why, but I actually enjoy this task!
I also like the two hours I set aside to sit down and read and play with my two year old baby daughter. Now that never gets boring!

When I look at the washing up I dread doing it, but while I'm doing I quite enjoy myself, it's quite relaxing and therapuic really!
I also like cooking dinner, I hate it when my partner says he just wants something like a takeaway, or a microwave meal or something I bung in the oven, I like to do something special, so then when I eat it I feel proud of myself!
HATE ironing...sorry!
Maybe I could send you my ironing and you could send me your washing up?

Laundry, not sure why, but I think it's the sense of achievement in getting things clean

I really, really love cleaning.

What I hate is tidying - but cleaning is therapeutic, and I have a huge range of cleaning products to call on.
