You can challenge the sanity of your parent when the will was written. You can challenge it, but I have my doubts you will get anywhere with it. For whatever reason your parent must have had bad blood with you, and did this out of revenge. People should be more aware of how they treat their parents. If you expected something, you should have talked this over with your parent before they passed. People often do this because the way the child treated them when they were alive. I'm not trying to tick you off, but trying to make you understand that you assumed it would come to you, and you did nothing to make sure it did. Sorry about that, but sometimes the truth is not what one wants to hear. I do wish you all of the best luck, but if you can't find a way to prove the will was fake or done by a person who didn't know what they were doing, then you just don't have a leg to stand on. Good Luck!

You can try to fight it, but it probably wouldn't be worth the stress or the money because she made her wishes known in her will and it's not likely that a judge will go against her will.
Best thing to do is make friends with the person she left everything to and then ask for what it is that you want.

Whoever is listed in the lastest Will is who the estate goes to relative or not. If you are not in the Will at all you get nothing.
Though whoever is in the Will should feel an obligation to you for any personal items they do not have to share anything with you.
What did you do to piss off your parents?

you can contest the will but if she was sound of mind and not under any duress it is unlikely you can do anything unless the contents of the home were not specifically left to this friend in the will,,you cant just disagree, you need good reason to challenge a will.find a solicitor or lawyer.

If you are a minor child, you probably have some rights.

If you are an adult, I don't believe so.

You could investigate the will - see if it's ambiguous or otherwise deficient.

Worst comes to worst, ask the friend for the mementos you want.

Good luck.

You have the right to be pissed off and that's about it. If they have a will they can leave everything to anyone they please.
