It's interesting. If you are closed-minded and choose to hate it, that's your choice, but I find it exotic and daring, especially since the extremist governments of the region condemn music as sinful... it's taking a bigger chance than artists putting out an album in the US for example.

im an iranian iranian traditional music is superb but the newest ones wich u can find in los angles are rubbish.
but if u want to listen to iranian music plz search for tradittional ones like mr Shajarian .

How can you ask such a question?Iranian Music is not s.th unique .It is a copy of other music (Arabic or European)
BTW,except some of the singers,the voices are in low level.

I'd rather listen to Afghan music myself. But Arabic would be my first choice before any form of Farsi.
