Is it common for you to get hard just seeing/talking to someone?

That used to happen when i was in grade school and signs then were not standing up when called

Well when I was younger and I was just beginning to explore the facets of sexual awakening, I would get erections at the most unbelievable and unpredictable of times. It was very embarrasing especially when I was in public, getting off of a bus, for example.
These days, I am 35 by the way, my erections aren't as unpredictable as they used to be athough they aren't an issue either.
However, for example, this morning I found myself trying to cross the street to get to work, and what do you know, little "mini-me" was beginning to stand at attention. Must have been memories of last night's amazing sex with my wife (I actually orgasmed about 2 or 3 times!) , because before I could realise what was happening, my "morning glory" was standing at 1/2 attention, without any control from my part.
Basically, the younger you are, the more you are suceptible to un-controlled erections you are (in the mornings as you wake up for example), as well as being a victim to those embarrassing public hard-ons you have no control nor any idea why they happen at such inopportune times.
But as you get older, your erections "apparently" become weaker and so you have less episodesof "unwanted" erections.
That's the official story as far as I can tell...

If you mean an erection ... depends on your age. Unless you're taking meds for disfunction, spontaneous erections are only normal in adolescent boys ... say 13-18 years of age. Otherwise, it is not only uncommon, but it may be a sign of some problem. There is a syndrome some adult males experience called "priapism" and it is potentially harmful.

It used to happen to me all the time when I was younger, But it only happens now, if I start talking to her and I think about her and I doing it or something. The smell of her perfumes also turns me on a lot.

there arnt raelly any sing for it. but yes i get hard talking to my girlfreind and some other girls.
