Apple Pie with Cinnamon flavour

Traditionally, Apple - though it and its flavor are German.
I prefer pumpkin or pecan - both homegrown American incredients adapted to a European recipe.
Shoo-fly is Pennsylvania Dutch (deutch). Rhubarb is just revolting (Beboparebop!). Key Lime, if made property, is divine, but is so often made too sweet. Meat pies are very British, and can be edible anyway. Meringue and custard pies are French, but still we eat them.
If I had to name an "American pie" right now, it would be "Crow". But that's more a political thing than cuisine-related.
