Because there is no such thing as god(s).
“The gods can either take away evil from the world and will not, or, being willing to do so cannot; or they neither can nor will, or lastly, they are able and willing. If they have the will to remove evil and cannot, then they are not omnipotent. If they can but will not, then they are not benevolent. If they are neither able nor willing, they are neither omnipotent nor benevolent..Lastly, if they are both able and willing to annihilate evil, why does it exist? ” -Greek philosopher Epicurus (341-270 BCE)

Ugliness and corruption are our own doings. Allah has set clear rules; doesn't a thief know that theft is illegal? Why does he steal still? Knowing what is wrong does not necessarily prevent people from doing it.
Literally speaking doesn't a father teach his children what is right and what is wring yet they make mistakes that sometimes he forgets and forgives and sometimes punishes?
This is our case with Allah and when life on earth is all over we will all pay for what we did badly and get rewarded for what we did right and we have nothing to do about this other than to try our best and pray for Allah's mercy.

God does love his children, God is a Just God, & everything has to be tested, I know sometimes it seems unfair, But it is not really unfair, we just don't want to go through the testing. I lost my wife of 22 yrs. in 1989 & watched her died in ICU for 304, Yes I question God, Did I doubt God, NO, My wife passed away in Nov. 1989. I am remarried to someone from church that also lost her 1st husband, We have be happly married for 15 yrs. Just remember when all seems bad, God is there, We can not understand completely God's plan at that time, but somewhere down the road we will.

Yes, God's children do many ugly and unjust things. And why does this suggest that the Father doesn't care??

Because Satan is the prince of this world, and people follow him and do not seek God, that is why we have so much ugliness, and injustice, Christ said If we live for him, we would suffer like him, caount it blessings when you live for God and suffer, for great will be the reward.

When God created man, man lived in the Garden of Eden (paradise). There was no such thing as injustice, disease, or anything else that is bad. Man had to mess everything up by sinning. We suffer in this world , partially as punishment for the sins of our first ancestors, and as well as for our current sins.

Sin is what causes all the ugliness! God cares for his people (children) but God is a gentleman and steps aside when he is not wanted. So when someone continues to reject him and do stupid things, there is nothing GOd can do but sit and watch. People have a will to do what they want to do! Sin always has ugly consquences

He does care...everything that's happening now is a warning of what's going to come after Jesus comes back..he wants you to heed the warning and accept him..God didn't make the injustice we did!
