No, Jesus preached to the Spirits of the righteous who were waiting for Him in "Abraham's Bosom" (Luke 16:22). This is a separate place from Heaven; since these righteous people had not yet had their sins forgiven, they could not enter Heaven ... yet.

Jesus tells us at John 5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 25 Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, AND NOW IS, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live." (emphasis added) Notice Jesus tells us the dead were CURRENTLY hearing His voice, while He was still on Earth, preaching the Gospel to the living.

At Luke 4:18-19, Jesus publicly quoted Isaiah 61:1-2:

18 “ The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
TO PROCLAIM LIBERTY TO THE CAPTIVES
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”
(emphasis added)

Once Jesus died, He descended to Hades, within which "Abraham's Bosom" was, and proclaimed to the righteous dead that "it is finished." In other words, His blood had been spilled and their sins finally were forgiven:

1 Peter 3:18 "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, THAT HE MIGHT BRING US TO GOD, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, 19 by whom also He went and preached TO THE SPIRITS in prison ... " (emphasis added)

1 Peter 4 further emphasizes the reason Jesus preached the Gospel to the righteous dead was so that they could be brought to God:

"6 For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit."

In summary, Jesus did not preach to the angels in Hades; He only preached to the spirits of the righteous dead.

Peace.

A more accurate rendering of 2 Peter 2:4 uses the term "Tartarus".Which is a prisonlike,abased condition into which God cast disobedient angels in Noah's Day.
Tartarus,is therefore not the same as the Hebrew Sheol or the Greek Hades,both of which refer to the common earthly grave of mankind.This is evident from the fact, that while the apostle Peter shows that Jesus Christ preached to these "spirits in prison"he also shows that Jesus did so,not during the three days while buried in Hades(Sheol),but after his resurrection out of Hades.(1Peter3:18-20)

Jesus did not go to hell to preach to satan or fallen angels, When Jesus was crucified, He went into the paridise of Hell. at that time parididse & hell, the place of torment was both in the heart of the earth, But there was a great GULF between both of them, one was paridise & one was torment. When Jesus went to the paridise part of hell, He Preached to those souls in prison, Or paridise part. That was all those OLD testament saints, From Adam to The last Old testament person that was there until the time Christ gave up the ghost. These souls that he went to preach to looked for that promise hope of a Savior, They looked to Calvary. In St. Matthew 27:51-53 And the Graves were opened & many bodies of the saints which slept arose. 53: And came out of the graves after his resurrection & went into the holy city & appeared unto many. SO not only did Jesus rasied from the dead, But all those Old Testaments saints, None of the wicked ones was raised, they are still in that part of Hell that is in the heart of the earth & that part of torment. Now Paridise is no longer in the Heart of the earth, It is in the heavens. The ones that are still in hell the tormenting part, they will be resurrected at the Great white Thone Judgement After the 1000 yr rein of Jesus & his Bride on this earth, after those wicked souls that are still in hell, once they are raised unto damnation Then Hell & the wicked ones will be cast into the lake of fire, That will clean this earth of all traces of sin.

This idea of Lucifer is a misperception.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.
