during jesus's crucifiction none of the apostles other than john were beleived to be hiding. The rest probably got the details of the event from another source. Mark and Luke got their accounts from peter (who was likely to be in hiding) and paul (who only started fallowing jesus a lot later )

According to the bible Since it was passover, jesus and the rest of the convicts were taken down very soon and only jesus was miraculously dead. he was then placed in a tomb and 3 days later he resurrected.

Isn't it possible that jesus only appeared to be dead taken to the tomb. Woke up from the coma escaped from the tomb went to the apostles and then did what any sensible person would do- leave the country before the officials found out.

of course how he managed to escape the tomb undetected is unclear but there can be many possiblities.

one possobility is that he was discovered to be alive when a few followers came to visit him, and they sneaked him out

I am perfectly aware of the story that the romans pierced him with a spear and water came out ... As I began none of the disciples exept john was present and hence am open for the possiblity that the romans made a mistake.

AS for the roman guards.. I used the word SNEAK him past them. Besides later they were reported in the bible to say that the body was taken away by the disciples . though it is said that they were bribed by the officials the writers of the gospels could have had no proof for such a thing.

You write that you are aware of the story about the spear and that water came out and so on. I do not know which conclusions you draw from it. If I remember correctly, Luke reports that from the spear wound blood and water came out. Within a dead body the blood starts quite quickly clotting or coagulating. So the mentioned detail would prove that Jesus was alive. Quite a few Christians like to tell the lie that a person in a crucified position dies from suffocation. Suffocation often prevents the blood from coagulating.

Actually, your theory is quite dated. It's called the "Swoon Theory". It is medically impossible for it to have occured.

The swoon theory cannot answer the problem of the linen wrappings lying undisturbed, exactly as they had been when around the body of Christ. Christ would have had to perform a miracle of wiggling out of the wrappings which were wound tightly about the body with over a hundred pounds of spices in the wrappings without someone to help unwrap Him, as in the case of Lazarus in John 11.

John 19:31-35 and Mark 15:43-45 show to us that Christ was dead in the judgment of the soldiers, in the judgment of Pilate, in the judgment of the Jews who requested the guard for the tomb, and in the judgment of the women who went to the tomb to further prepare the body by heaping spices over the body.

If Christ had only swooned, He still would have still been half dead. A great deal of time would have been needed for recuperation. In His weakened condition He could not have walked the seven miles on the Emmaus road. It would have been impossible for someone (who had only resuscitated from the agonies the Lord endured with the beatings and crucifixion) to so quickly give the impression that He was the Conqueror of death and the grave, the Prince of Life. In fact it was this belief which turned the disciples around and became the foundation of the rest of their ministries.

Roman executioner knew what they doing and it would be very embrassing for them if a convict they though was dead woke up might lose own head + you do not need to gentle with a corpse of dead traitor (unlike in todays case where someone wakes up) hence the story of spear so I think this is rather unlikely

Your theory is similar to that from a book called "The Passover Plot" by a British biblical scholar named Hugh Shonfield.

They made a movie, same name, in the 1970s.

Good for you for thinking about this.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins and 3 days later He resurrected. An angel of the Lord was at the tomb and told Mary that. I know all of this because the Bible tells me this and I don't understand why you want to try to come up with you're on theory of what happened because it will never work. Do yourself a favor and read your Bible.

Very possible...I mean, really, as possible as any other. I like that it touches on the turmoil and civil war like mood that existed at the time: They were all in hiding, etc.
