For those of you who don't know, after the QEII at Ascot on Saturday Frankie Detttori claimed that Seamus Heffernan had intentionally caused interference on Ivan Denisovich (also trained by Aidan O'Brien) by bumping his horse when coming round the final bend. Is this not hypocritical? Look at what happened in the 2001 Irish Champion Stakes with Fantastic Light and Galileo.

very good question i watched the race in my eyes there was only one winner which was the winner.although i think frankie has a point if what happened was done on purpose but in my eyes it was not. the answer to the question is yes frankie is behaving like a spoilt child. what is your conclusion mr.salsa?

I'm divided on my opinion here. Read the HRA rules and they could be right. But on the other hand, watching the race, it looked like any other race to me, bit of bumping and barging, horse not machines, could go anywhere, anytime. Was the significance of a prestigious race that just happened to make the stewards get their rule book out after Dettori got out of his pram maybe. I'd say he could have made a mistake himself, taking that position coming into the bend, he might well have expected to be carried wide at that stage.I would like to see the race again. Stewards say a jockey brought his mount off the rails by 5 horse widths, that's what I'd like to view again.
