Shell lubricating Oil 220 is used as lubricant in Gear Boxes and in Blowers in Industry. Residues formed from long usageof this oil needs to be cleaned by some solvent.

There is a commercial product called Chlorothene, which is widely used as a degreasing agent. Chemically it is 1,1,1Trichloroethylene.

There are environmental and industrial hygiene requirements for using it, but even in the US it is still widely used.

Contact shell and obtain a product data sheet on the oil, they should include the information you need.

you have to need only pepsi or coke... thats must be a good solvent
