I remeber seeing someone reflating tyres using and inflammable liquid to produce a sudden burstof heat/ exhaust gasses to re-flate tyres on off road vehicles. I think it might have been in iceland , off roading on icy terrain like glaciers. I want a picture or even better .mpeg video of this. Any ideas? links?

I don't have a link for you but I have done that to tires several times. You have to be careful when doing that because it is extremely easy to explode the tire. The only reason people do that is to re seat the bead on the rim. If you plan to do it make sure to remove the valve guts in the stem so that the superheated fumes have a place to go if you use too much spray. I have used starting fluid, WD-40 and even hair spray to perform this task. Hope I have been helpful.

You don't want to do that. I've heard of people being killed by exploding tires using this method. It tales very little combustible fluid to split a rim, explode a tire or break the bead on a tire. And without a tire cage to put it in is very dangerous.
Use fix a Flat instead.
