You know he is the one when you feel butterflies from being around him. When you think of him you smile big. Do you have a lot in common? Do you get along well with each other? Do you think about him all the time & wonder what your future will be like together. Could you be with him forever? To really know someone takes time, patience, and effort. Marriage is a huge step. Let yourself fall in love. Does he listen to you and can you talk to him about almost anything? Do you tear up just thinking about how your life would be if he wasn't there? If you have answered yes to almost all these questions you are truly in love & this is indeed the right person for you. If you are in love with this person don't let anyone talk you out of it, go for it!! ;)

to be honest, (this is coming from someone who has been married and lived with two other guys), there are "lots" of "the ones".
it all depends on if you are both compatible, love and respect each other. no matter how nice that"ohhh I'm soo in love" feeling is, don't forget to use your head too. (i made that mistake when i got married, they all said he was a wrongin and treated me bad, but i felt so in love that nothing else matterd). now I'm not saying you shouldn't feel that way, I'm glad you do. its such a wonderful experience.
just way up the pro's and con's of your relationship too. make sure he/she is right for you and that you are compatible in all the other necessary areas too. otherwise sooner or later your relationship will fail.

I agree with Kerrie-anne. There can be a few "one"s out there for you. The way I see it, the one who loves you back, and whose faults you are willing to put up with for many years to come, whose genes you wouldn't mind mixing with your own when you want kids, who will not chicken out of being responsible... you might as well make him YOUR One.

You're happy being with him. You're contented when he's around. You're not looking for somebody else or something else when he's beside you. You keep on laughing even on those jokes that are not funny at all. It's easy to smile and laugh whenever he's around. They were the signs that he's the one.

For me, when we first met, it felt like constant electricity running through my body...on the flip side it also feels like i love him so much its painful...what on earth would i do without him.
