Hiccups are pretty natural things for babies. Their little brains are still under development, and things just sort of misfire on occasion. Offer him a drink, sometimes that helps. As he gets older, sometimes you can make a silly face to make them laugh. All these things help reset the nerve control that coordinates breathing/inhaling, and the diaphram. Relax, it happens, frequently, though not as frequently as the diaper changes.

Yes, hiccups are normal. My little girl had them too. I did a lot of research online when she was getting them really badly. Most of what I read said the hiccups do not bother the baby. Suggestions were to allow the baby to nurse again for a few minutes, try to burp them again, give them a little bit of water or try gripe water. When my daughter gets them really bad, we give her gripe water. She hates the taste and spits most of it out, but it still seems to work.

It is normal, my boys did the same thing. I asked my ped about it and they said their bodies are still maturing and they are a little more susceptible to hic-ups. There's not much you can do about it. Sometimes I'll nurse for a bit and that will do it. Make sure you burp him real well after feedings.

My little one has them all the time. It's normal, don't worry. Offer him a little formula/breastmilk and they should go away.

Should not be a problem, but make sure your doctor and/or health visitor is aware of this.
