Not certain about "The Singing Fish", but Joan Miró experimented in a wide variety of media
He created etchings and lithographs for several years in the 1950s and also worked in watercolor, pastel, collage, and paint on copper and masonite.

dont know about singing fish but most of his work uses oil paints.
