its nothing, dreams are your thoughts, they have no relation what so ever with reality, some people do believe this but its not true, many animals also have dreams,
dreams at best are some time images of your fears or your desires.
there is though one more reason for nightmares, they are more frequent when you are stressed, so if you are try to relax.there is nothing to worry, some people may tell you some weird things but they have nothing to do with facts.

I think you ate chili and onions and made you have a nightmare. No, seriously, sometimes we just have crazy dreams for no good reason. It might have been a combination of things we saw on TV. Like if you had watched a scary story within the last few days, even a commercial about a scary show, etc. Our brains just store it and then pops out when you least suspect it. I think nightmare or really scary things, are maybe fear of the unknown. The fact that your dad did not help you, might have meant that you are growing up and realize that he is only limited as to what he can do for you. Maybe you are trying to solve your own problems and it is scary to you. I do not know your age, but it sounds like it is just normal. I used to have crazy dreams, and still do, but not nightmares, just crazy dreams. Like last night I was part of a group of people, and it was like the frontier days, and I was going around a cliff. I know that place, because I think I have had the same dream. I also have dreams about going to Alaska, which I did once. I have it a lot, and I think it is my brain saying how I would like to go again. The brain remembers things that you like, and it also can present fear, but do not pay any attention to it, it is just all part of growing up. Maybe you are afraid that your dad will not always be there for you, just something like that. Put your little head to rest tonite and ask God to only give you pleasant dreams. Pray to your Father God in Heaven, and to only give you peaceful and beautiful dreams.

You say only part of that dream was a nightmare..I would think you were subconsciously reassuring yourself that if ever you really were in danger, you would run to your protector...that person being your Dad...you must love and respect him very much..I am proud of you...bet he is too.!!...You go girl, stick with Dad everytime......

Dreams don't ALWAYs mean something ...sometimes they do, sometimes they are just jumbled images from your subconscience...other times it's the sandwich you ate before you went to bed. If it has meaning, you will probably realize it yourself if you think on it a little longer.
