How do I manage to cough the guitar up? It just sits in the back of my throat and makes me have dogs breath all day.
After a few months it comes up naturally and it looks like a light brown cheese. and it stinks.
I have tried inhaling but it doesn't work.
Any advice please, as I think this is the only thing that is stopping me finding a girlfriend.

It's not a guitar.
It's a Tonsillolith.
These smelly creamy coloured "Tonsil Stones" are just a collection of food particles, dead white blood cells and oral bacteria.
They do smell horrible and can contribute towards bad breath.
Having your tonsils removed can help but this is an extreme solution.
An everyday solution is to make sure you brush your teeth twice a day, scrap or brush your tongue, floss your teeth and also use a mouth wash.

I notice that you are the same person who wrote that he drank 25 cups of coffee a day. I think this might be one of the reasons, if not the only, for your bad breath. The "guitar" in your throat is phlegm and if it is like a light brown cheese that takes months to cough up, it is not a good sign. It is the body's way to help you get rid of the germs and dirty stuffs that try to get into your body but if it takes so long to come up, then it is a sign that this part of your body is not functioning efficiently and you are more at risk of getting ill, particularly with your respiratory system and throat. Coffee is dehydrating so your body is constantly dehydrated and not working properly to eliminate toxic and other unwanted substances. Try cutting down coffee gradually and drink more water. You need water to help you flush out all the unwanted stuffs in your body and make your breath smell better. Good luck with finding a girlfriend.

1) Food gets lodged in the back of your throat or in your sinus cavity. The food rots, of course, and smells horrible. It comes out eventually, but is nasty.
2) Floss! At least twice a day! Food gets trapped between your teeth and rots. Yuck!
3) Brush after every meal. Mom was right!
4) Brush your tongue. The surface of your tongue is rough and food and bacteria gets stuck there. Nasty.
5) Keep your mouth moist. I forget why, but letting your mouth dry out results in bad breath.
6) Bad breath may indicate a severe medical condition. You should consult a doctor if brushing and flossing do not help.

Good luck!

Hi Crispy, if you should happen to have a guitar in your throat you would most likely be dead. However if you have catarrh in your lungs or throat the best way to get rid of it is with Mucosil. This thins the catarrh and makes it easier to cough up and puke out!

Ok go to the dentist first get your teeth checked out as they often are the source of bad breath...

Then go to your doctor and ask them for advice about the stuff you bring up. And what have you tried inhaling?

Cut down on drinking all that coffee. Also gargle with either salt water or diluted lemon juice. Plus get a check up at dentist just in case a gum disease.

olbas oil is excellent in removing cattarh, you can buy it from the chemist in a stick form that you inhale up your nose or as a liquid that you put on a hanky and inhale, i think the trick is to keep you sinuses clear in the first place

Firstly, it's catarrh not guitar which is a musical instrument.

Secondly - get yourself to the doctors, that sounds terrible!

Thirdly, if your avitar is a picture of you, that may explain part of your problem.

You could try plucking it with a plectrum and see what happens... but then I guess your breath will smell of tunes!

Is it a 12 string or a bass guitar... you haven't specified...?

Whatever it is.... chose a girl called melody and you should be ok!

Catarrh you idiot!
