Hi ya, computer generated art can be as beautiful to the eye as hand painted images. I create a little computer generated art and in my experience it required time and patience to practice in Paint shop Pro to get to know it.
I can't believe I had the program for over a year and only used the paint program that comes with windows. I spent so much time in there to try and perfect images although I was new to the computer in everyway anyhow.
When I spent time in Paint shop I realised I could create anything I wanted to.
Time and patience to get to know your program, and its capabilities.
I am going to be printing some of my work onto canvas, and then I do the other way round too. Hand paintings and then bring onto the computer and then change the image, manipulate in PSP to create yet another new image.
My avatar of the butterfly has been created by using a finger painting for the background and then added the butterfly to symbolize yin yang, yet if it was inverted it's true identity will be revealed...like said, limitless in a good program and then you get to know it with practice

Good luck

Just try it.

I use Paint program with a mouse, coz I currently can't afford to or I can't buy, for now, a better software. I know, there are graphic/drawing softwares that may be less than $200. A drawing tablet with a pen is probably better than a mouse...

It's probably much convenient for me to draw and paint on the computer, since the tools and all the colors are there. You just pick the colors, and don't have to mix them and get messy.
