Just tell him you're on your period, it's no big deal. Or you can use euphemisms like "that time of the month", or "aunt flow is in town".

I assume you mean sex also, otherwise it doesn't make much of a difference if you're on your period, unless you guys go swimming all the time or something.

You can have sex while on your period. It makes a mess, but other than that it's no big deal. Put down a towel or do it some place where things can get cleaned up easy.

Oh yeah, talk to your doctor about it. You can control your period with birth control pills - as in when to have it, or even to have it like twice a year, or never. But everyone is a bit different, but I'm sure you can at least delay it for a week or two say for a vacation or something.

Um...if he's old enough to be in a relationship shouldn't he be old enough to know what a period is? He must be pretty thick if not!! Do you not have sex education in your school? Just tell him. It's nothing to be embarrassed about - it happens to us all (women that is!!) You can still fool around while on your periods. I'm my horniest while having my periods and most guys I have been with don't have a problem with it. If you're too embarrassed to tell your man (and this is a really sad relationship if you are) you could go on the pill which can be used to stop periods or you could get the Depo Provera shot which stops your periods for three months. It's also contraception!! You really need to sit down with this man of your and explain to him about your body. Does he know how babies are made? On the other hand he may surprise you and actually know what a period is!! Good luck. To both of you. :)
