Christmas tree is never the Christian stuff, but the idea of American commeical gimmick.
Halloween too, is not a Christian practises.
By the way, God is always careful of the nature world we are living in. If one reads the law on wars in Deut, one will also notice that God did not allows people to cut down trees any how to destroy the land.
Many times, American claimed to believe in God, even print it on their money. But the very act they do make people wonder what god they believe in.

Did you know that baptism has pagan origins as well? It was Egyptian paganism to be exact, they believed that all life came from the Nile, so at religious ceremonies they would immerse themselves in the water. It seems a little hypocritical to criticise Christmas and Easter ceremonies and not mention baptism, possibly the most spiritual event in a Christian`s life. All our ideas about spirituality are in fact traditions of men, and not divine in any way. We only do these things to feel special.

I don't agree with the tree...never liked the idea of killing all those trees. The Christmas tree was adopted by Christians to convert a group of "pagans".
I love halloween. A chance to pretend to be what you aren't, if only for one day.

Come on, if you believe in God, you MUST believe in Santa!
You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
He's making a list,
Checking it twice;
Gonna find out who's naughty or nice.
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
With little tin horns and little toy drums
Rooty toot toots and rummy tum tums
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
Goodness sake
You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town

the church got this from the pagans, easter, Christmas and hallows eve, it's all pagan.
It doesn't mean that it's evil, it just means the church isn't original
