no, but it could be indicative of a small intestines bacterial overgrowth (they produce gas as they munch on your food that passes through). they are harmless and needed for absorption of some vitamins....but if they flourish bc you have a medical condition then you will get more gas....if it does not go away, go to the doctor and let him know...

not really it means you have eaten the wrong foods over a few days and now suffer the consequences so ulcers do give you pain in your stomach that would be constant after eating so becareful and burping more would be a sign of ulcers as well so go to doc just to make sure there is medication out there

not always but if it last for more then a few days and you are puking up blood as well then ya u prob have one ask you Dr to sched a lower GI if you persist to have problems longer then a few days. It's painless and quick and they will scope it out there is a condition called gastritis also as well as a few other things that could cause it besides food. This scope will give you and the Dr all the answers

It may mean not having enuff hydrochloric acid. Poor digestion and bacterial or yeast overgrowth lead to fermentation of undigested food and production of copious amounts of gas.
Try some digestive enzyme pills with your meals and see if it helps. Mylicon will help the gas problem, but you need to improve your digestion to get at the source.
