First of all if it is a fine it is a SENTENCED charge. Bail bonds are for cases that are open, not sentenced. A Bail Bond guarantees the appearance of the defendant to court. If it is sentenced, there are no future court dates.

Since this is a "stay or pay" sentence the defendant can be released after the designated number of days are done OR the fine is paid. Most county jails credit per diem. In other words, if the sentence was 10 days or $500, the per diem is $50. Therefore, every day that person stays in jail the fine is $50 less So in this instance, after 5 days in custody the fine would be down to $250.

Hope this helps.

You dont get someone out on a no bail warrant. At the time they are sentenced the judge may set bail. If the bail cant be paid then the inmate does the time. When that person is released then they can become a civilian again and get a job and pay the fine. If restitution is owed (other than to a person) and the person is on parole the restitution can be waived if the person completes thier parole without any violations. Good luck

This is what bondsmen are for. There should be a list of good bondsmen at the jail or you can look them up in the yellow pages. They will post bail for you and charge you an interest. Don't skip out on you, though, because they will hunt you down.
