If you're trying to get to know a girl at say a party or something, when do you know you're going to far and coming off as desperate/obbsessive

Begging would be a good sign. If she's telling you to go *** yourself is another one.

When the girl has given clues to you that she is not interested and you still persist on trying. You will know if a girl is interested she will smile at you and you will catch her looking at you little things like that. If she is not interested she will move to a different location, will act like you are not there and ignore you.
