I suppose "technically" even two cigarettes a day is harmful. But when you think about all the other smokers in the world, it usually takes dozens of years of smoking packs and packs a day for any negative health effects to occur. Continuing to smoke two cigarettes a day may cause health problems when you turn 300-years-old, so I doubt you have anything to worry about. What you should be concerned with is increasing the number of cigarettes you may smoke. One day you'll start smoking three a day, then four a day, and before you know it, you're smoking over a pack a day and can't stop. If that happens, it could be detrimental to your health. Be careful. One more thing to keep in mind...as a 14-year-old, you are in your beginning stages of dating. Remember, most people don't want to breathe in your secondhand smoke or even the smell left on you clothing. Just a thought....

Yes every little bit counts because you are taking in less of harmful substances, particularly tar which tends to accumulate in your body.

Well done and keep up the good work!

Yes, without a doubt, cut one a week over the next 4 weeks and you have done it.

I used to smoke about 20 packs of cigarettes a day.

But ever since I lost one of my lungs, I've cut my smoking in half!

I'm only kidding.... I still smoke just as much as ever...
