i am a virgin. i am proud to be a virgin.
IF ANYONE HAS A PROBLEM WITH THAT, DON'T READ ON!!!!!
why do most virgins, especially guys, have to be the target of stereotyping and name calling?
i think its disgusting. the younger you are, the more pressure there is. most of my 13 year old friends have had sex with more than one person, and its disgusting.
people should have more respect for people who have more respect for themselves.
i just felt like making a point.
sorry if i offended any one, but i just wanted to let people know.

The reason that people treat virgins without respect like this is because they have been influenced by the television and media that glorify sex about every 20 seconds? is that right? lol So they get it in their brain that it's cool and when another person challenges that, they go into defense mode for their beliefs and attack you. Personally I have much more respect for somebody with your ideals than I do for anybody who fornicates. Don't let anybody influence you but yourself and your own beliefs. That is beautiful. Peace.

im 16 and still a virgin. the pressure to have sex in high school is INSANE! ive been asked plenty of times to have sex, and i dont think im mentally ready to handle it so, the reason that i havent isnt because i cant get it. i dont think theres anything wrong with being a virgin especially if you are 13. and i understand what you're saying about them having "multiple partners, and its disgusting", at 13 you shouldnt have had one yet!
oh and its not just guys that are virgins who are stereotyped and called names!

There's nothing wrong with being a virgin but, there's something wrong with thinking that people who have sex or multiple partners are disgusting and/or disrespecting themselves. That's sort of medival thinking and a very unhealthy attitude towards sex. It's very immature but, then again you are 13 years old after all and it's probably best that you are not having sex at 13 years old.

categorically, nothing's wrong with it. depends on the culture of the society in which you were raised. more conservative societies actually look at virginity as a precious trait reserved only for marriage. in most western cultures, it is considered cliche or an indication of being an outcast. again, this is a matter of opinion.

as for me, having sex at such an early age exposes an individual to a higher risk of mental, psychological and physical health problems. not really a good idea.

It depends on your age, till 18 or even around 20, it does not matter, but after that u should have it, not only for having sex, but also for the hormones, n your body, 2 even check if there is any thing wrong with your hormones, or if u handle a sex. cause as you know later when u get married, sex is one of the most important parts in ur relationship with ur partner

well most people think if someone's a virgin is because they are not attractive enough and havn't been offered to have sex yet!
and they think that sucks..
they dont understand that although many guys(or girls) have had the opportunity to lose their virginity, they chose not to.
My boyfriend used to be a virgin when we were friends
and he always complained.. he kept repeating this " virginity is not dignity, its a lack of opportunity"
its quite sad really.
i personally was so proud of being a virgin, although there were always a lot of guys around that liked me and "offered" , i always said no and i was proud of what i thought no matter what people said. until i got forced into having sex .. it still hurts to think that all that effort.. ...

being a virgin is unique, i wish i stayed one til i was 30 for real. but you be proud of what you stand for that doesnt make you a bad person it makes you a rare unique person one who has his values in order. one who is not trying to get distracted by any of the diseases that comes with sex or distractions that comes with your feelings once you have sex. cause you know that every person you have sex with who ever they had sex with you have to and whoever that person they had sex with so did you and it goes on and on. i know of people who were virgins until 29 and 30 and wish they waited longer. be proud

dude honestly..when i was your age..my friends always talked about it n stuff..but u think they really did it?? there just saying that to be cool...thats how you guys are at that age..but hey..i always told people i was a virgin when i was...and trust me..ull get more girls that way..the right minded ones at least...so dont even worry about it..when the time comes it will happen....trust me..u wont even have to be thinkin about it..
if u tell girls that ur a virgin and u are..that shows them honesty and that they can trust you...when most guys ur age is trynna brag about it..
