Considering that Pat Robertson in particular seems to think that the solution to every problem in the world is violence in the name of God, who can believe anything he says?

Pat Robertson is a disgrace to the Christian community. He represents a fringe that gives all Christians a bad name. Seems to me these two are the criminals. Christian writers such as Cal Thomas have blasted Pat over his race horses and gambling. Pat is a follower of Christian Reconstructionism which is evil 101. To quote, Come to think of it, profit, politics and piety appear to be the trinity of motives that govern Robertson's "ministry." And in exactly that order of priority.
Jerry Falwell is one of the most corrupt and evil "men of God" ever to disgrace the face of the earth. The Rev. Falwell has a long and undistinguished history of evil deeds and idiotic and perverse statements. We are all familiar with Falwell outing Tinky Winky and blaming 9/11 on homosexuals, pagans and feminists, but he has been making such outlandish statements for decades.
They have the nerve to point fingers - they need to clean up their own door steps.

WHY, tell me, WHY do you even listen to those that have done nothing but enrich themselves by misinformation and conning the masses with demagoguery? They live in such opulence... yet continue to take from those who have the least. They promote hatred while claiming to worship a "loving" God, yet teach intolerance in the name of a "loving" God... when will people EVER wake up and recognize these false prophets and false self-appointed religious leaders?

Those 2 are an abomination to the Lord. Real Christians do not spew hate and violence. They preach love, understanding and acceptance.
