Why when there are so many diseases out there do people still sleeparound?

No one thinks it will happen to them. Many people, especially younger people think they are invincible, which simply isn't true.

People tend to be ignorant of the real risks out there. They think they are above getting anything, or just don't care. If you know anybody like that have them use yahoo to search for pictures of STD's and they will change their mind when they see the pictures of what they can do to people.

I have. I admit it. But I go to the doctor on the regular to get myself checked out so I don't catch anything. I use protection and don't dare sleep with anyone I don't know or is a dirty person.
The reason I have slept around is because, one I am single with my own place. Two, I have more female friends than men friends and they are easier to hang out with. If I let them come over to my place they always want to chill and relax. Then one thing leads to another mainly if we have been hitting the bar or been going out. Another thing speaking of going out, I live less than block from five bars and one strip joint. So it is easy for me.

Cos people are stupid. They live for the here and now, with no fear of consequences. The typical "It'll never happen to me" attitude seems to be spreading

Because people are jackasses and they don't know what there getting themselves into...believe me there are stupid people in the world these days...you just have to deal with it cause no one is going to stop.

yes they are stupid, and ignorant, and lots of things. But the bottom line is, I think, people like to have sex and when it presents itself, they go for it. Not everyone, but alot do.

Because they are dumb and oblivious. Many people think "It hasnt happen to me yet and it wont" Which is DUMB! STDs such as HERPES, HPV, HEPETITIS, SYPHILIS, CHLAMYDIA & GONORRHEA.. and even HIV which leads to AIDS.. all are painful and even deadly. Protect yourself and abstain, people!
