What ever is making her bleed internally, it is extremely serious, and requires veterinary attention as soon as possible..No, it is not from eating human food..unless that food was a bone, and caused a rupture...
You need to call before they close up for the night..or better yet, get on your way..

What are the symptoms of Parvo?

"Parvo" is a virus that attacks the lining of the digestive system. It causes dogs and puppies to not be able to absorb nutrients or liquids. Puppies are especially prone to it because they have an immature immune system. When dogs and puppies contract parvo, they often have diarrhea, vomiting and lethargy. Usually they stop eating and develop a bloody, foul-smelling, liquid stool.

Symptoms usually begin with a high fever, lethargy, depression, and loss of appetite. Secondary symptoms appear as severe gastrointestinal distress, such as vomiting and bloody diarrhea. In many cases, dehydration, shock, and death follow.

Parvovirus is characterized by severe, bloody diarrhea and vomiting, high fever and lethargy. The diarrhea is particularly foul smelling and is sometimes yellow in color. Parvo can also attack a dog's heart causing congestive heart failure. This complication can occur months or years after an apparent recovery from the intestinal form of the disease. Puppies who survive parvo infection usually remain somewhat un-healthy and weak for life.

Here is a good site for you http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&C=&A=589&SourceID=
My puppy died of parvo, he woke up in the morning fine. I let him out and one hour later when I went to check on him he was vomiting blood drooling profusely and would vomit up any water that was given to him. I immediately took him to the vet and a one thousand dollar bill later he sent him home because they cannot keep them over night if they have other patients over night as they could contract this. When I brought him home he seemed ok then began having bloody stool. He did not make it through the night.
Puppies should not be around new people or taken around until at least 16 weeks of age as when the puppy nurses from it's mother it gets her antibodies that work to their advantage. However, these antibodies could take up to 16 weeks to get out of the puppies system. They keep him from getting sick but also kill vaccines as if they were a virus. So it could take up to 16 weeks for the vaccine to work and for your puppy to develop his own antibodies.
Also if he has an obstruction from eating something large as puppies do, or has eaten something like a chicken bone that can splinter off and cause bleeding if it was cooked. You had better bring the little one into the vet.
In the future I recommend you get a crate for this little one and only let them out for potty or supervised play time. It will help you alot and you will be there to stop him from eating anything he shouldn't. Good luck and I hope your little one is ok.

Cute name for a heeler!!

Parvo they will not eat. If she is throwing up blood she needs to see a vet. You have to get her stomach settled down. Parvo the Blood comes out the other end. If she did not eat something red and it is blood it could be an ulcer or she could have gotten something stuck in her esophagus that cut her.

One of the main signs of parvo virus is the diahorrea...it has a particular smell...once you have smelt it you will know it instantly...it usually looks like melted chocolate and contains blood. The thing with parvo is it dehydrates puppies rapidly and that is one of the main thing that kills them. Your puppy at 9 weeks has not even finished the full course of vaccinations and should be taken to a vet...her tummy is upset, this could be due to what she ate or it could be a bug, whatever it is she really needs veterinary care.

Get her to the Vet Clinic ASAP. They can treat her if she is early in the parvo stage. My puppy died a year ago to Parvo and even if she was vaccinated against it she still got it. My heart goes out to you. It is a horrible thing for that precious puppy to suffer with. Seek medical help for her now.

If you think your puppy has parvo then get her to the vet immediately. I went to my local shelter to adopt a dog, but the one I wanted was quaranteened because she was sick, 3 days later she died from parvo after she'd been vaccinated. Also have her dewormed.

If she is puking up blood and or having bloody diarrah than more than likely yes. Get her to the vet right now. This is so deadly. It will stay around for 7yrs. so don't get another animal if it does have parvo.

Just b/c a dog has had shots doesn't mean the shot worked. You want no that until your puppy comes in contact w/PARVO...if the shot did it's job.
