please tell me how over a million animals fit into a bout 450ft long by 75ft wide by 45ft tall. these dimensions are based on the average length of a mans elbow to his finger tips which is one and a half feet, or one cubit.

the number of animal speicies currently exsiting in the world today multiplied by two.

also remember that you need enough feed to keep all of these animals alive for a long period of time.

Isn't it obvious, Noah obviously was provided with a bag of holding by the Dungeon Master.

did you know all the species of wolves are just a wolf?

Judging by the Ancient egyption cubit, which is as you know, old (21 inches) Also remembering, the people were Giants, possibly over 12 feet long, so it could have been 30 inches or more for all we know.

but lets go off this; 21 inch cubit = 525 foot long, 87.5 wide, 52.5 feet long.

But what i don't understand is why don't athiests ask why didn't anybody else get into a different boat, or how did the ark even survive such a terrible flood (remembering the earth was ripped open, it wasn't just a nice little rain), possibly, which could even also be possible as an answer to your first question; the power of God kept it afloat? Destroyed other boats in the water? Fed the animals? Created the world?

God bless!!

It was a magic ship. Martha Stewart and Houdini were sent back in time to help Noah correct the feng shui of the vessal and enchant it, allowing for the maximum amount of cargo; in this case a boat load of animals. They also consulted with the Jeruselem Zoo and took into account any ecological conflicts provided by combining species from seperate sub continents that developed along divergent evolutionary pathways through out the first couple 100 years the Earth existed. Everybody knows that you non-believer!

crow james,
I don't think that Noah had all of the animals in the world. This question comes up a little too much and I have ignored it up to now. Noah didn't live in Austrailia. Neither was he in the Andes Mountains. You have to realize that you are reading something, most likely in English, and the is Hebrew less specific about the area that they are talking about.

Besides all that. Let's say that Noah was only able to bring aboard as many animals as YOU see fit. Leaving room for edibles and toiletpaper. Okay now, God changed to atmosphere from whaever it was before, and into what we see today, causing a flood over THE ENTIRE EARTH. Okay?

The God who created it all in the first place; is He allowed to create all the other animals over again? Is it okay for God to recreate all the animals that Noah has never seen and will never see in His long, long life?

The trouble I am having with your inquiry is that all you unbelieving people, even with a decent explanation, want nothing from God anyway. I figure that many of you are trying to "be the one" who bring the whole Christian thing down, perhaps go on David Letterman and tell him about it and become famous.

I will tell you this, straight from the heart, not just you but all those Noah questionaskers from the past to the future;
1) God can do anything He wants to do;
2) He doesn't need your permission or belief to do them.

I think, if there is any truth in the story, that it was a local flood and the only animals involved were local animals, possible just domesticated animals required to restock the homestead after the flood ends. So 2 chickens,. 2 goats, 2 cows, 2 sheep and that's about it. A metaphor really.

First of all only the unclean animals were taken in by twos. The clean animals were taken on in sevens. Noah was also 600 years old. So you have a little more calculating to do. Who says that all the species now existed then. No one eats in their sleep, nor do they eliminate. Maybe God hypnotized all the animals so they could squeeze in tight. Oh in case you didn't know the Unicorn didst make the boat.

Peace to you Crow.

Several possibilities. Personally, it's possible that there were not that many animals to begin with. As to the measurements of the Ark, it's also possible that their measurements were a little longer during that time. As for the feeding of these animals, well, most species do hibernate and therefore consume less food.

But those are just possibilities.

Peace.

Well, I suppose you could have only putted young baby animals into the boat. Or the boat could have had multiple levels, sort of like a yacht, to store more animals.

God let it happen as amazing as it is nothing from the bible should amaze us. Thats all that s written in it anyway miracles from god and his son. Now dont get me wrong i aint no religious nutter my parents were. I personally think the bible was made by the government to control us all but how do you explain the relegatons in the corinthians of the new testament we are so far all doing exactly what it said we would, and the world is behaving the way it says it will. This is just another paranormal miracle dont wind yourself up answering this question you never will find the answer.
