Silly people don't read.

Home canned veggies last a year sometimes 2 if you keep them in a cool pantry.

Home canned meats only 6 months.

if it doesn't have an expiry date or best before date then it would probaly keep for another 5 months. If there is, and it's a tin or can, then expiry is always 6 months after the best before date, providing it has one. Do not ever try and keep dairy products such as cheese and milk, as this always expires 1-2 weeks after openage.

well doesn't it have an expiry date?usually it lasts about a year.
