The following Homeopathic Remedies were the ones I used to cure the patient with liver cirrhosis due to Hepatitis C and our learned conventional doctors had called him incurable and left him to die that was 6 months ago now he has no Hepatitis nor Cirrhosis. the prescription is as follows :- SULFUR 200, BRYONIA 200 both together once a day along with 20 drops each of CARDUSS MARIANUS Q(mother Tincture ) and CHELIDONIUM MAJUS Q(mother tincture) thrice daily half hour before or after meals and LYCOPODIUM 1M once a week it took him three months to get 100% cured, Two other patients are still on the medication and improving day by day. Avoid taking anything which gives you a constipated tummy avoid chocolates Coffee, Mints, Red meat and rich starchy food, while taking homeopathic remedies. And keep all medication away from heat, direct sunlight, perfumes and scents and do not store in a fridge.
Feel free to email me if you have anything to ask or clarify and keep me posted about your progress every week or 10 days.
Take care and God Bless you !
And get well soon !

Be careful! The only condition that has been shown through research to be helped by alternative treatments is Milk thistle for alcoholic cirrhosis. You need a specialist and research proven treatment or possibly a transplant evaluation if you're liver is decompensating. Good luck.

I too have a liver disease, PBC and before you take ANY over the counter drug ask your doctor. ALL medications, herbal or not metastisize in the liver and can be really harmful. So PLEASE ask your specialist first!
Milk Thistle is often reccomended but not for EVERYONE as it can be toxic and harmful to some. As an example my liver specialist forbid me to take it and he is one of the top doc's.
So please ask your doctor about what is good and not good. It's your health and honestly asking strangers online for medical advice isn't reccomended, even when people have answers that work for them, it may not be reccomended by your doctor for you.
And hey check out sites like PBC.org or the American Liver foundation, these places will guide you. Also whatever your disease is try searching for a support group specifically for your disease.
Good luck and God bless

Herbs
Herbs may be used as dried extracts (capsules, powders, teas), glycerites (glycerine extracts), or tinctures (alcohol extracts). Unless otherwise indicated, teas should be made with 1 tsp. herb per cup of hot water. Steep covered 5 to 10 minutes for leaf or flowers, and 10 to 20 minutes for roots. Drink 2 to 4 cups per day.
Due to the high doses required and the need to avoid alcohol, the preferred form of these herbs is powdered.
* Milk thistle (Silybum marianum): 100 mg three times per day prevents free radical damage in the liver.
* Barberry (Berberis vulgaris): 250 to 500 mg per day corrects metabolic abnormalities in liver cirrhosis.
* Catechin (Uncaria gambir): 400 mg three times per day, is antioxidant, antiviral, and helps regenerate liver tissue
