I don't have any real proof, other than a book I have read and which seems very popular. Other people agree with me that I will be safe after I die, and those who do not believe in my religion will not be safe, even if they have led good, useful lives. There is no proof of any of this, but I am convinced enough to devote my life to making people of all other faiths feel miserable, ignorant and frightened until they agree with me. My religion has no proof and chooses to ignore or attack scientifically proven theories which disagree with mine.
Does this sound like a reasonable person to you?

Please sit down with a Bible and read some of it. Christians are supposed to love all people and not be judgemental or anything else. truly i am sorry.

I wonder why you are asking this question, since you already know the answer--no, it's not reasonable? Are you caught in their web and trying to get out? Are you trying to argue with these people? (You can never win, because argument and reason have no power over them.)
Science deals with things "seen" (material) and testable. Religion deals with things unseen and untestable. That's one thing to consider. The other thing to consider is that people who try to condemn other people and make their lives miserable do so for reasons other than religion--they're usually sick, sado-masochistic types with a need to control, abusers, psychotics, and generally mentally unstable. Trying to control other people, abusing them is something that many people do--not just religious people. Atheists can just as easily be abusers as religious people. Don't blame mentally unstable, neurotic behavior on religion...Religion may be their vehicle of abuse, but if they didn't have that they'd find something else.
The best thing to do is to either stay away from such people, or feel sorry for them.

No that don't sound like a reasonable person to me. That sounds like an incompetent person to me! Is that what you think and said or did you come across that from someone else and just copied and pasted it? You should state that.
However my reply would be that People who act like that are the ignorant people and I will never agree with them and I guarantee they will give up quickly after dealing with me for a few minutes. They will quickly move on to the next person. I am not suffering at all. I think people who ask questions like that one (yours or who ever asked it) are the ones suffering from pure stupidity and suffering from being brainwashed.

I've never met a religious person who is going to hell. That alone makes me want to NOT believe.
But no, that does not sound like a particularly reasonable person. Of course, I suppose the same logic could be applied to atheists. So many of us enjoy making religious people miserable hehe...

If you don't believe in God , he is not going to punish you for a eternity. Why do people assume this? The bible tells us that the wages for sin is DEATH, not everlasting LIFE in Hell fire. God is a very loving God, he would not make you suffer just because you choose to ignore him. But your ignoring him will led his wiping you out of his memory forever.
