No he does not, at least not any wages he gets from the church. If he does any outside work that is non-religious then he has to pay taxes on THAT income. He does, however have to report the amountsthat the church receives to the government, and will occasionally have to provide validation for particular individuals donations if they are using those donations as a tax write off on their taxes.

I would take an educated guess and say yes because he is an ordinary citizen and every citizen has to report there income. Just the church funding orgination activities would be exempt. Just an educated guess
